dropout granular sample cylcer v2.2 is a sample player that utilizes granular pitch shifting and sample slicing to play back a sample in new and unusual ways. the first row of sliders controls the actual playhead position in the sample at that step. the second row controls the coarse pitch, which is multiplied by the pitch variance setting at the top. the bottom row of toggles allows each individual slice to be reversed. all the other settings should be familiar from the breakdown, mashup, and sideslip effects. The demo shows some nice tricks and it sounds like the dropout granular vst could be useful to producers looking to granularize parts of tracks.
