Post Using samples in a remix

I was wondering about using CC:Attribution samples in a remix for an artist. I'm still learning how to use CC - and I'm probably making this more complicated than what it should be.

The artist is making a remix album, and if I use a CC:Attribution sample(s), all I have to do is just give attribution to the artst (not worry about the commercial aspects - I don't think I'll be making any money off of it)?
