Hello, I am new to this site and am not too familiar with how music licensing works with free-loops.com.
For example, if I would like to license a loop I downloaded from this website for use in a videogame that will be commercially sold, can a contract be concluded between free-loops.com and my videogame company? Does free-loops.com have a general license template available for review somewhere on the site or are they open to using a license template I could offer? The loop in question is: http://free-loops.com/download-free-loop-4732.html Any help would be extremely appreciated. Thank you! |

It says "Personal Use" that means that you can use it as fair useage rights declare
http://www.adec.edu/admin/papers/fair10-17.html Id say no way on video game. The song is "Pop Goes the Weasel" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pop_Goes_the_Weasel Although the song was published in 1855 so any copyright would have long since passed i believe. At least under the United States law. (75 years and older and its fair game) |
